Dining at Hector's Casa is the next best thing to being in Mexico. My family and I love Hector's, and Hector himself is an excellent example of the grace and kindness we find from the Mexican people when we are visiting that country. And the food at Hector's is so authentic and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the tortilla soup and the mango ice cream! In the summer the back patio is like being teleported to Puerto Vallarta! You'll love it! the MacKenzie family

I ate there once and was very dissatisfied. The main problem is that they have tried to get a little creative with Mexican food. All I wanted was simple tacos, but they have these gringo variations of what a taco is. What ever happened to Carne Asada with onion and cilantro in a corn tortilla? I may be a little bias since I am from Southern California.

The food is fantastic, the free salsa and nachos are to die for.Ihave told all my friends make sure you tell yours to.

One of my favourite restaurants! I always enjoy the free salsa and chips - makes me want to make my own when i get home just to have loads more! I always get the soft tacos with vegetables and i love all the flavours with so many toppings, refried beans, and both types of habanero sauce drizzled all over! mmm have never been anything than 100% satisfied there!

I used to work nearby, so my co-workers and I went all the time. Everything on the menu is delicious, though all tastes very similar. Hector is a great host, takes the time to welcome you and say goodbye, even sits beside you and makes small talk. You get free chips and homemade salsa before the meal, and the salsa is really good.
The service is good for dinner, but waiting to order dessert or waiting for them to pick up the bill is painful, we sat and waited for a good 15 min before we got a drink refill and a chance to order dessert, and then atleast another 10 min just waiting to pay.
The desserts are really delicious especially the rice pudding and deep fried ice cream. The jalapeno poppers are excellent as well.
I'll keep going there, despite living 30 min away.

Visited on many occassions doesn't matter what you order all the food tastes the same, order the special it will taste the same as anything on the menu. Free chips and salsa when you arrive but ration your chips to salsa ratio otherwise you will be charged full price. Being a regular customer for many years don't expect any privliges such as extra salsa etc. you will be charged accordingly.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time last night. I myself have not eaten a lot of Mexican cuisine, but I know this place is excellent. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent as well. On departure, the owner shook my hand, and thanked us both for coming. We felt welcomed, valued, and well fed with incredible food. Oh, yeah, we'll go back. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and make a reservation, this place is ALWAYS full!

ate there on October 16/2010 food was bland at best chips came out of an old dutch bag and the salsa was old canned refried beans? better to go to Oroville if you want authentic for half the price

We go to Hector's for everyone of our friend's birthdays. We love the atmosphere and the food (and margaritas) are excellent.

We ate in the opem area at the rear. The atnosphere was very pleasant, and the staff members who served us were attetnive and friendly.

The food was nicely prepared and tasty. We would go there again for Mexican food

Having been to Hectors numerous times over the years while visiting Kelowna this year will be the last. We made reservations for outside and ended up inside, our meals took over an hour due to the order being misplaced, we sat at a table with plastic covers which reminded of the living rooms people had in the 70s. The food was ok once it arrived but we were over hungry at that point. Hector looked like he needed a holiday and was not his usual self. Hectors has now become a victim of his own success.

we ate dinner here July 30th - it was very good, great salsa and chips gratis, service was prompt and friendly, price was great.

We LOVE Hector's and try to go for any occasion. The food, beverages, staff and especially Hector are the very best for casual dining in Kelowna. The food is served hot and fresh every time we dine. We've been going for 10 years and plan on many more years to come. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, but most already know and love it too!

Expensive for the quality of food. Service is hit or miss. Would not recommend this restaurant for authentic mexican food and would deffinately not recommend for alcohol beverages. Seems as if the alcohol is diluted.

Great Food, outstanding night! My girlfriend took me out to Casa last weekend for birthday dinner and it totally quenched my appetite for authentic mexican cuisine... 2 Thumbs up

The best Mexican food restaurant around! Very authentic, great service and food thats to die for! Do not miss out on the margaritas!!!!!

My daughters and myself ate at Hector's Casa on the weekend and not only had a great time, but, the food was great. It was served promptly and the waiter was very polite and helpful. Then the live music started. That just made the evening that much better, it really added a lot of fun. I am going to go again soon and bring my husband next time.

OH I LOVE THE SERVICE, LOVE THE FOOD, COULD NOT BE ANY BETTER

This very authentic Mexican restaurant has an awesome atmosphere and on Sunday evenings live music Mexican style. We enjoyed the excellent service and very friendly hosts, Hector and his superb staff. The food is prepared in Mazatlan and air shipped to Kelowna fresh per order, ahh, just kidding, but you swear it is that authentic. Wonderful food and margaritas, check it out. Thanks for the travel tips Hector.
