It took 20 minutes to get my assorted snacks appetizer and I was in for lunch. I was satisfied with the service but I wouldn't go on my 1/2 hour lunch break again. The mint chutney was the best I've had. The usual sweet Tamarind/mango chutney was as expected (good). The portions for $6.95 were adequate but The chicken wing could have been omitted, and replaced with anything else. The restaurant decor was poor at best. I'm no expert but I'm sure that the decor would appear cheesy to people of any ethnicity. I noticed a wall socket to be placed in an area that a child could touch while eating dinner at one of the bench seats across from me. Dawettes was also slightly too hot, (air temperature)
Now, for the final verdict.... I would definately go again because the food was excellent! go for the food .....ignore the rest.

this is the yummiest place to eat in kelowna. service is always friendly and the food makes me want to move next door so i can eat all day every day. i highly recomend this place.
