Chutney Cuisine of India

Best Indian food in town. nice and cozy wonderfull food and service .I will recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

we went to chutney last night it was out standing. very friendly service. food was excellent. worth to try.

We did take out and the food was decent. I prefer it a bit spicier than my wife, so asked for a bit of hot sauce on the side. On our $70 bill they charged us $1.50 for the hot sauce, which we thought was very petty. We need more competition for Indian restaurants in Kelowna.

Didn't Chutney serve rice with curry at one time? Seems to have changed a couple of years ago... Service is usually good, but in the 3 years we have been customers, we have experienced some very slow meals. England's national cuisine is pretty much Indian and often of excellent quality - we need more competition in Kelowna to raise the standard. Meanwhile we will continue to dine at Chutney.

This is the first Indian restaurant I've been to that does not include rice with curry. Since I am the only one who mentioned this in a review, I will assume that it is a Kelowna thing.

When I called to ask if this was a mistake, they said no and then hung up on me, again, probably a Kelowna thing!

p.s. The food was nothing special.

Am from England and the Indian food great.
But after having the worst Biryani I have every tasted or even seen, the stuff I had served up was more like Mud.

The cook should not give food from a can, the rice was hard, all mixed up.

The server was Canadian and did not have a clue to what I was talking about.

I would say if you have never traveled the world, this place would be good for you.

the only place I have had real great east indian food is in broadway Vancouver.

The food is wonderful - My favorite is the vegetarian dinner for two. It will not be a fast meal, but it's worth the wait.

Order took 2 hours for 1 dish then did not call when dish was ready. Charged us for 2 nan bread but got 1. Food is usally good but this was ridiculous.

Normally I have had good luck with this restaurant however last night that changed. I am a vegetarian and although I specified this many times as well as them ringing it through they sent me 3 meat dishes and told me they were vegetarian. Luckily I only ate one small piece of pork but usually that is enough to send me to the bathroom for an hour. This was all after receiving my food 25 minutes late..

The food is amazing and the people are wonderful at Chutney Cuisine of India. It is always a real treat every time I have the opportunity to enjoy a meal at Chuteny.
